Dealer sandblasted and repainted doors under warranty. Noticed slight bubbling of paint on inside of lower front doors along bottom seam above the caulk line. Ford and the dealer would not cover the cost of replacement of the door handle so I taped it to prevent further injury. Rear door weather strips came off when wiping down after washing.Ĭhrome plating peeling on the interior drivers door handle, caused the driver to cut his finger. The mechanic put screws into the door to replace it. The left side passenger door (4 door car) the interior panel popped off again. I took it to the dealer for Warranty but the denied the claim because it had not rusted through. The bottom of the Tailgate has started to rust out. Parts previously ordered were finally installed. Parts ordered repair will be done once parts arrive. Fix is to keep buckle farther down belt.Īir vent handle broke. Cause was found to be simply the rear seatbelt buckle bumping into the plastic seatbelt holder on the top of the rear seat. Rattle was emanating from the rear interior of the vehicle over bumps. Dealer replaced clips and installed longer screws to prevent a future occurance. Plastic cover on inside of rear hatch was coming loose and rattling. Two major rattles from the driver's door panel and near the shift boot.Ĭar was taken back to the dealer to fix the same rattles not repaired the first time. Out of warranty cost for all would have been $437 including labor. Had them update to SYNC 3.10 while it was there. It was taken down and refastened correctly.Ĭruise control switch was also replaced because the paint was flaking off. Dealer tightened it, said he has seen a number of these from the factory with lose screws on the hatch handle.Įvidence of water leaks on both A pillars at 90 miles. Interior handle for the rear hatch was lose. Replaced a few missing screws from the engine shield that had fallen out due to being over-tightened by the dealer. Two plastic nuts on the undercarriage shield in the area of the passenger compartment were missing so I replaced these with metal versions using a part number for a later year model. Replaced plastic deflector on front passenger side. Because my time sked was very short the selling dealer did not time time to repair. Switch did not fail, was bad at assembly. Dashboard trim warped part replacedįront right proximity sensor was not mounted flush and needed reseating. Rear passenger door handle would not retract, leaving door latch open and bouncing off the post when attempted to close. Didn't want to be blamed at end of lease so asked for fix. dealer found all clips were not engaged and engaged them.Ĭlip missing from dash top, did not fit with other trim pieces.
